George W. Bush Over Al Gore
What Does Marshall Think?
In my
opinion, George W. Bush is the better candidate for the
presidential office. I have been asked many times why I believe
this, and I have tried to explain it, but have never had the
chance to finish. I decided to devise a webpage to show anyone
who cares what I believe, and why I believe it. I was going to
write a persuasive essay on the subject, but I wouldn't want you
to fall asleep; I want you to be interested. Instead, you see
this page, where I can add pictures and colors, etc. WELCOME!
Now, on to what you came for.
First, as
many of you know, I am a religious person, or at least I try to
be. I know for a fact that Mr. Bush is a very religious man, and
you can read about his testimony (which I received in a
forward) here.
Another
big issue in the debates and the campaign was abortion. This also
goes into religion and ethics. I believe that the death penalty,
if used correctly, can be very effective and save many innocent
lives that can be taken by these brutal people. Abortion is a
crime in itself. Al Gore believes that ALL abortionf are ok, and
that it is not a big thing to take an unborn baby's life.
Abortion kills babies everyday! Compare that to the death
penalty, which takes only few lives a year. Abortion kills
thousand of innocent
babies every day! They have commited no crime, yet, THEY are
punished. If you are unsure about abortion, or are for it, go
to this site.
The
Supreme Court is one of the other debated topics in this race.
Democrats believe that Gore will appoint Supreme Court Justices
who are progressive, and that Mr. Bush will appoint judges who
are ultra-conservative, who over the years will ultimately take a
woman's right to choose (which really means a woman's right to
kill the unborn baby because it's in her
body). Well this, I am sorry to break to you, is untrue. Mr. Bush
has never stated that he will deny the right to abortion, but he
states that he thinks that it is wrong, and if he were to
personally be in that situation, he would put the child up for an
adoption. I agree with this, but I also plan to be smart and hope
not make mistakes like that.
Another
thing that may come up is that either of them is a phony. Mr.
Gore is peculiar with regard to this subject, because in the
first debate, he was arrogant, and his facts were exaggerated,
and many things went wrong that made Mr. Bush the clear winner.
At the next debate, he cleaned up his act and all of the things
that he hadn't done right in the last debate had changed. He was
like the new-and-improved programmed Al Gore.
We all
know that Al Gore is better because he took the iniative in
inventing the Internet, right? Well, again, this is untrue.
Infact, you may not like the truth on this issue. Many people use
cell phones every day and everywhere. If you are the one who pays
the bill, have you ever noticed the 15% tax on the bill? Well we
can call this the "Gore" tax. Mr. Gore took the
initiative inventing the Internet by raising the taxes on
communication devices, such as cell phones, and this is where FCC
comes from. Since most of the schools are wired and online by
now, and the internet has been invented for so many years, the
Republicans tried to pass a bill to get rid of the awesome "Gore"
tax on communication. Well Mr. Bill Clinton, our current
president vetoed this bill, so now you still are paying the 15%.
You can thank Mr. Gore. Maybe if Mr. Bush were to be elected, he
would sign the bill to get rid of the "Gore" tax.
